San Marino, 26 March 2025 – Poste San Marino is pleased to announce the issuance of a 2 euro commemorative coin on the occasion of the Jubilee Holy Year 2025, an event of extraordinary importance that invites reflection on hope, faith and universal brotherhood.
This coin, minted in an edition of 56,000 pieces in Brilliant Uncirculated, is not only a collector’s item, but a tangible symbol of a shared spiritual journey on a global level, encouraging all ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ to rediscover faith in the future.
The design, created by artist Gabriele Di Maulo, delicately and powerfully captures the spirit of hope and rebirth. The depiction features a woman, as a symbol of strength and courage, holding an anchor, an emblem of stability amid uncertainty, as she accompanies a child by the hand, a representation of a restored humanity that is renewed and reborn through faith.
Jubilee 2025, the spiritual heart of the initiative, invites us to rediscover these values, in a complex historical moment, asking everyone to overcome difficulties by looking together towards a better future. The figure of the woman, with her welcoming gesture, and the child, representing all generations to come, make the coin a powerful symbol of renewal and shared confidence.
‘We are proud to offer everyone the opportunity to possess a token of this extraordinary celebration of faith, which represents a universal call to rediscover hope, fraternity and peace,’ said Poste San Marino General Manager Gian Luca Amici.
The coin will be available from Thursday 27 March 2025 at the Poste San Marino Shop located in Piazzetta Garibaldi 5, San Marino City, and on the website www.poste.sm.
